On November 17, 2016, Bradford reached an important milestone in its company’s history with the launch of its 1000th product into space!

At 13:06 hrs GMT, an Ariane-5ES lifted off from the launch site in Kourou, French Guyana, carrying four Galileo navigation satellites (FM15, 16, 17 and 18) into space.

Each of the four Galileo satellites has 2 Fine Sun Sensors, 3 Standard Accuracy Pressure Transducers and 16 Cosine Sun Sensors produced by Bradford on board, bringing the total of Bradford products involved in this single launch to 84.

Since our first flight, the Middeck Glovebox on the shuttle mission Discovery STS-42 in January 1992, 1059 Bradford products have been flown into space on 86 launches.
